    Hudson Valley Writers Residency is proud to partner with boutique hotel and accredited art gallery, House of Mosaic, an extraordinary, 16,000 square foot villa on the island of Aruba, offering warm, Caribbean retreats and residency opportunities for writers, artists and digital nomads from around the world. There is more to be explored than just the shared Dutch heritage of both regions. There is an artistic community born out of a friendship that goes back decades.

    A Friendship Fostering Creativity

    Hudson Valley Writers Residency’s Bjorn Thorstad and House of Mosaic’s Fernando Mansur were freshman year roommates at Boston University. Today they co-host writers, artists and digital nomads in Aruba, and in New York’s Hudson Valley, at their respective partner residencies, bringing the Caribbean to Hudson Valley and the art world to Aruba.
